Digital Grade Books with Excel 2007
Description: In this workshop, participants will learn how to create a reusable digital gradebook using Microsoft Excel. The class will begin with importing student names and UF ID numbers from a text file into Microsoft Excel. Formatting and formulas will be added in the resulting spreadsheet that can track, weight, and/or adjust student grades. The final data will be exported to a text file. Uploading grades to Grade-A-Gator will be discussed.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Some familiarity with spreadsheet concepts. Familiarity with mathematical order of operations.
